18/6/2020 Thursday, 6:45 P.M. పెళ్లి ఖర్చులు తగ్గినాయి......షాపులు వెలవెలబోతున్నాయి!!

అస్సాలములైకుం, నిన్న పని వత్తిడి వాళ్ళ బ్లాగ్ వ్రాయలేక పోయాను. మన్నించగలరు. స్కూల్, కాలేజీ రోజులలో హాలిడే అంటే చాలా ఆనందం వేసేది. ఆటలు, సినిమాలు, లేకుంటే మా ఊరిలోని నది గుండ్లకమ్మ కు ఫ్రెండ్స్ఈ అందరం కలిసి ఈతకు వెళ్ళేవాళ్ళం. వెళ్ళేటప్పుడు మాసిన బట్టలు కూడా  తీసుకెళ్ళి ఊతికి తేచుకునేవాళ్ళం. అంత  బాగుండేది. కానీ ఇప్పుడు హాలిడే అంటే కూడా ఏదో నిరుస్తాహం. ఇష్టం లేనట్టు గా ఒక ఫీలింగ్.  ఇక పెళ్లిలు అంటే చాలా సబరంగా ఉండేది. నా ఫ్రెండ్ శ్రీను అనేవాడు ఊరికి దూరంగా ఉండే కరెంటు ఆఫీస్ దగ్గర వాడి ఇల్లు. వాడి ఇంట్లో ఏ ఫంక్షన్ అయినా సరే ఫ్రెండ్స్ అందరిని పిలిచేవాడు. వాడు ఇప్పుడు ట్రాఫిక్ ఇన్స్పెక్టర్ అయి హైదరాబాదలోనే డ్యూటీ చేస్తున్నాడు. ఒకటి రెండు సార్లు కలిసాడు కూడా.

ఫంక్షన్లు అంటే గుర్తుకు వచ్చింది.........నేడు పెళ్లిళ్లకు పెళ్లి కార్డు ప్రింటింగ్ 10 లేక 20 కార్డ్ల కంటే ఎక్కువ ప్రింటింగ్ చేపీటంలేదు. కరోనా తో  పెళ్లి ఖర్చులు తగ్గుతున్నా,   ప్రింటింగ్ ప్రెస్ వాళ్ళు మాత్రం తమ కనీస ఖర్చులు కూడా రావటం లేదని వాపోతున్నారు.  హైదరాబాద్ లోని పెళ్లి కార్డ్ల హబ్  చత్తబజార్ బోసి పోయింది. పెళ్ళిళ్ళ సేజాన్ ఇది. జనం లేక వెలవెలబోతున్నాయి షాపులు.  వాటిపై ఆధారపడ్డ వాళ్ళు తమ వద్ద పని చేసే వర్కర్ కు సగం జీతమే ఇస్తున్నారని తెలిసింది. కొందరు తమ పనివాళ్ళను తీసివేసారు కుడా. షాపుల రెంట్ కూడా కట్టలేని పరిస్థితి.!! 

చత్త బజార్లో దినసరి వేతనం వల్లే ఎక్కువ. ఏప్రిల్, మే నెలల్లో లాక్ డౌన్ వల్ల పాపం ఇంతో మందికి ఇల్లు గడవక ఇబ్బందిపడ్డారు. నేను మా ఫ్రెండ్ అఫ్ఫాన్ భాయి తో మాట్లాడి కొందరికి రేషన్ కిట్ ఇప్పిచాగాలిగాను.  అఫ్ఫాన్ భాయి లాక్ డౌన్ కాలంలో  చేసిన సోషల్ వర్క్ మరువరానిది. ఆయన మెహర్ అనే సంస్థ చట్ట బజార్లోనే ఉంది. ఆయన మెహర్ సంస్థ  ఆధ్వర్యంలో కొన్ని వేలమందికి రోజూ అన్నం పంపిణి చేసాడు. కష్టకాలంలో ఎంతో మంది మహానుబావులు మానవతా దృక్పదం తో సేవ చేసారు. వారందరికి నా అభినందనలు.

My friend Srinu's house is near the current office near the town. Friends used to call any function in the house. He is now a traffic inspector and is on duty in Hyderabad. Even if one meets twice.

Functions come to mind ......... Today's wedding card printing for weddings is no more than 10 or 20 cards. While the costs of marriage with Corona are falling, the printing press is not even coming up with their minimum costs. Chatbazar hub of Hyderabad wedding cards is gone. It is the bridegroom sezan. People are going to shop.

It is reported that those who depend on them pay half the salary to the worker who works for them. Some even took their jobs. Even the rent of the shop is unbearable. !!

The daily wage in Chat Bazaar is high. Lockdown in April and May has sadly left many people homeless. I talked to our friend Afan Bhai and got some ration kit. The social work done during the Afghan bhai lockdown was unforgettable. His company, Mehar, is in the law bazaar.

He distributed rice on a regular basis to a few thousand under the Mehr Company. During the difficult times many great people served with a humanitarian outlook. My congratulations to you all.
